What is Sensory Play?

Messy play is the engagement in play that ignites the senses, expands the mind, improves communication and develops social skills. It involves learning through experiences, with the use of all senses; including touch, smell, taste, movement, balance, sight and hearing.

Messy play activities facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to play, use their imagination, create, investigate and develops a sense of independence and curiosity.
