About Us

Hi, my name is Rachael and I am a first-time mum to a sweet little girl.

While on maternity leave in 2021 I thoroughly enjoyed making and creating a variety of sensory and messy play activities for my daughter.

Over time as she grew, so did our activities! They became more creative and complex, I had numerous parents (friends and strangers alike) asking me “how do I do it?” “Where do I start?” “I feel too overwhelmed to even try” “can you teach me?”

All this led to the creation of Messy Playhouse!
